15.1 DEHN AFRICA (PTY) LTD guarantees the FIRST buyer of the commodity that the product is free of material defects and/or processing for a period of 24 months (two years) from the verifiable purchase date. This verification must include a valid proof of purchase from the FIRST retail buyer. Upon receipt of the product, the first buyer is required to verify the visible defects of the product.15.2 Caution applies to the product when it is sold and installed in Africa.15.3 The warranty is the only recourse that is or results of the first individual contractor for damage related to a defective part/product. The warranty is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of parts of this product at the discretion of DEHN AFRICA (PTY) LTD15.4. The warranty is the only recourse available to the first retail investor for any defective product, or that results from it. The warranty is strictly limited to repairing or replacing the goods that are found to be defective.15.5 The warranty does not cover:15.5.1 Non-defective damage caused by improper use, including use that is not fully compliant with the product installation manual; or 15.5.2 labour costs for the disposal or relocation of replaced goods15.5.3 freight transport costs to DEHN AFRICA (PTY) LTD; or 15.5.4 damage caused by inadequate installation; or 15.5.5 goods that are installed outdoors and are exposed to the elements; or 15.5.6 Consecutive damage or incidental to the property or person.
